Fun Learning Place is a non-profit organization. Our services are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care in MA. Our Acton-Boxborough students can ride school buses to FLP.
Fun Learning Place focuses on designing an unique individualized study goal for each student. And we work closely with the students to promote their creativity and curiosity in the process of completing their learning plans. During this process, the students will learn and develop time management skills, elevate organizational capabilities, concentrate on their studies, and achieve their goals. Therefore, they will form good study habits and become more independent, self motivated and confident.

Every after-school day, once the students have completed their daily learning in Math and English , they will join fun play or activities in our big GYM room or outside playground. On selected days, they can also practice their drawing and craft skills, along with exploring other forms of artistic expression. Additionally, we provide in-person English writing classes for students from Grade 4 – 8.

Current maximum ratio of student teacher is 6 to 1 in all the classrooms
Quiet Study at all classrooms
Half Wednesday starts at 1:00 pm
3:40 – 4:00 Arriving, bathroom break, and snack
4:00 – 5: 30 Quiet Study Session Time
5:30 – 5:55 Instructional sports at Gym room or play in the playground
5.55 – 6.10 Pick up

Q1: What FLP do?
Answer: we work with our students together, help them build up solid foundation of Math and English study. Chinese study is not our major focus but your student certainly can practice Chinese with us. We don’t cap their learning by grade.
Q2: FLP operating time?
Answer: we follow Acton Boxborough school district calendar to operate 180 of the school day and we have summer camp program too. Usually summer operating time is just in July. And we have online tutoring program as well.
Q3: What are the curriculum of FLP?
Answer: we have 4 sets of English text books and 4 sets of Math text books that run from K – Grade 12. Your students will have an accessment, then follow our enrichment curriculum to learn. Again, we don’t cap their learning. For an example, your student is a 3rd grade who can do 7th grade math, we will do 7th grade math with him/her, then he/she will continue his/her growth with us.
